Why should I consider purchasing an RRSP?

I know, I know. I already mentioned RRSPs last week! While considering an RRSP purchase, remember that the benefit might not only be less tax payable, but, by reducing your net income, may increase your Canada Child Benefit if that applies to you. Also, if you’ve collected EI during the year and are in danger of having 30% of it clawed back because your net income is over $66,375, consider purchasing an RRSP to bring your net income below that amount to avoid the clawback. Deadline is March 2nd!
